1901 Ireland Census - Maria Tierney & Francis Bourke Francis died six years ago and the family remains in Tullycommons. All seven children are living at home with Maria (45): Mary Ann (16); John (14); Edward (12); Pat (10); Maggie (9); James (7) and Francis (6).
The house is stone with a thatch roof and two windows in the front of the house. Inside there are two distinct rooms - a kitchen and bedroom. Outside the family have a cow shed.
1911 Ireland Census - Maria Tierney & Francis Bourke Maria is 54 and widowed. Six children are at home with her - John (24); Edward (22); Maggie (19); Pat (18); James (14) and Frank (13).
The house is stone with a tile roof (somewhat uncommon but all the neighbouring houses bar one all have tile). Outside they have a stable, a dairy, a cow shed and a barn.

Death Records 
Baby Francis Bourke - Death Record Francis died on 4th of June 1893 at two years of age. The cause is recorded as measles 'one day' with no medical attention. Maria registers the death.
Thomas Bourke - Death Registration Almost five months to the day after the death of Baby Francis his younger brother Thomas succumbs to croup. He is 16 months old.
The register page notes that Thomas was one of three Snugborough babies to die of coup in a little over a week (this is a relatively small rural area).
