  Headstones		Dr Richard Chaloner Cobbe - Memorial Erected on the wall of St Canice's COI in Finglas: Near this place lie the remains of Rd Chaloner Cobbe L.L.D late Treasurer of St Patrick's, Vicar of this parish and of St Anne's Dublin. He was a Scholar, A Gentleman and a Christian: an indefatigable, instructive and benevolent Pastor, a tender Husband and in- dulgent Father, a warm and steady Friend. In St Anne's parish he enlarged the School by an addition of ten females: he established here the first parochial charity School in the neighbourhood of Dublin. He exchanged this life for a better July 3 1767 in the 40th year of his age.
