That the defendant, on the 12th day of August 1884, at Ballyredmond in said County of Carlow did unlawfully assault John Doyle, the complainant. Defendant fined ten shillings and costs three shillings and two pence, (with sixpence extra should warrant issue). To be paid fourteen days. In default of payment to be imprisoned in Carlow gaol for the period of seven days with hard labour.

In default of payment defendant to be imprisoned in Kilkenny gaol for the period of ten days with hard labour.

Decree for sixpence and costs two shillings (with sixpence extra should warrant issue) to be paid in fourteen days in default of payment let defendants goods be detained to levy the amount then unpaid for debt and costs.
